Sales & Service Hours for Spring/Summer 2020
Do-It-Yourself Member Hours: DIY Hours have been restarted on Wednesday evenings, 5-8pm. Pre-registration is required online using this form, or you can register at the shop with a staff member. DIY hours are for current Members, or you can purchase a one-day pass.
Volunteering Opportunities: In August and September 2020, we are holding small group (signup required, online form here) volunteer hours on Wednesday evenings, 5-8pm in parallel with DIY Member hours.
Now’s a great time for you, and for us, to spiff up your bike if it needs repairs. We can sell parts or do the repairs for you.
Please send your bike to the shop with someone healthy. If you have symptoms (coughing, sore throat, fever), please move it around with freshly washed hands or clean gloves to prevent spreading anything to our essential bike mechanics.
Or, if you’re in the market, you can purchase an affordable up-cycled bike for recreational rides, commuting, and running errands.
The Center for Latino Progress, through its BiCi Co. program, is providing an opportunity to improve youth and adult safety, sustainable transportation, youth programs, mechanics classes, job training, and bicycles. Bici is short for bicicleta (bicycle) and Co. stands for comunidad (community).
Be a part of our bicycling community — become a member or donate today. Or just stop by our storefront shop during do-it-yourself (DIY) hours to check out what we offer. We are located at 97 Park Street in Hartford, CT, at the crossroads of the Downtown, South Green, and Frog Hollow neighborhoods
We offer all standard bike shop services including tune-ups, overhauls, repairs, cleaning and customization. Our store front offers refurbished used bikes for sale for both kid and adult riders. Come in and check out what we have available!
BiCi Co. is committed to meeting the need for bicycle-centered programs to serve Hartford’s strong need for efficient, inexpensive and safe transportation. Bicycles offer healthy transportation while for engaging youth — providing miles of opportunity.
This isn’t a typical bike shop. By becoming a member of BiciCo, you gain access to a full-service bike shop stocked with parts available for purchase at cost, as well as DIY hours where you can work on your bike along side our experienced mechanics.
All donations support our programs and operations at Bici Co. You can donate in two ways, either donating funds or donating equipment. We repurpose used bikes and put them back into our community through diverse programs and used bike sales. Click below to get started!
