Summer Bike Blowout Sale! Saturday, July 20, 10 am to 1 pm, in the alley alongside BiCi Co’s storefront, 97 Park Street, Hartford, between Main and Hudson.

Need a budget bike? Know someone else who needs one? Just $10 for a fixer-upper.

All bikes at this Saturday’s sale in the BiCi Co alley at 97 Park Street, Hartford, will cost only $10!

All of the bikes, from generous donors, need some work, but they’re decent bikes worth fixing up.

Prior to the sale, BiCi staff and experienced volunteers are assessing the bikes to establish what each one needs in the way of maintenance and repair.

Each bike will be marked with what it would cost for BiCi Co mechanics to fully refurbish it.

DIY or commission BiCi Co to do any needed repairs

You can choose a bike, pay for it, and order the repair and maintenance services before you go. BiCi Co mechanics will then do the work for you, and you’ll pay for that service and any required parts.

Or, if you prefer to do the repairs yourself, use member hours to access the BiCi Co community workshop tools and trained bike-mechanic support to guide you in refurbishing your bike at a reduced cost.

Member hours in the shop:

• Mondays, 5:30 to 8:30 pm (reserved for women/trans/femme/nonbinary DIYers)
• Wednesdays, 5:30 to 8:30 pm
• Saturdays, 1:30 to 5:30 pm

Special $20 summer-only membership deal, an optional add-on

When you buy a Summer Blowout fixer-upper bike on Saturday, you can also get a special summertime membership for $20.

Summer memberships are good through Labor Day 2019.
